New Patient Appointments

To establish yourself as a patient with the Raleigh Medical Group call the office at 919.782.1806 between 8am and 4:40pm Monday through Friday. Basic demographic information will be obtained and forwarded to our physicians to check for availability to accept you as a new patient.

For your first appointment please come 20 minutes early to check in and complete all the necessary paperwork. To save time you can download the forms by clicking New Patient Information & Registration. Always bring your insurance card(s) and photo id to every visit to Raleigh Medical Group. It really helps with the administration, filing and processing of each visit.

Please notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to make an appointment as we reserve the right to charge for visits cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.

Since physical exam spots are more limited than standard office visits, please schedule these visits 3-6 months in advance.

Please come about 15 minutes early to check in and make sure all your insurance information is up to date. Always bring your insurance card(s) and photo id to every visit to Raleigh Medical Group. It really helps with the administration, filing and processing of each visit. A demographic information update is required every six months. Please have your insurance information and photo id handy so we can process your information in a timely manner.

Our office provides an automated appointment reminder call two business days prior to your scheduled appointment as a courtesy to you. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call 919.782.1806 and press 0 when prompted.

Instructions for Scheduling/Completion of Lab Work

You will be scheduled to have your labs drawn on a specific date/time. It is important that you come on that scheduled date so the lab requisition will be completed appropriately in anticipation of your arrival. To schedule or in the event that you need to cancel or reschedule you upcoming lab appointment, please call 919.782.1806 and press 0 when prompted.

You should report to the front desk of Raleigh Medical Group and notify a receptionist that you are here for your scheduled lab work. You will be sent to the laboratory area and a technician from LabCorp will draw your blood or collect the appropriate specimens.

After completion of your lab visit, please check out with the front office for payment or filing with your insurance as indicated by your individual insurance plan.

For fasting lab tests, please do not eat or drink anything, other than water, 12 hours prior to your appointment. If you are diabetic, please check with a physician before fasting. We encourage you to drink plenty of water. You may take your medications prior to your lab visit unless a medication level is being measured (digoxin or seizure medication, for example). Your nurse will give you specific information if medication levels are to be drawn.

Please do not arrive on a date other than your scheduled day for your lab work.
