Dr. Smith

Originally from Northeast Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas, Dr. Smith earned his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Smith is particularly passionate about preventive care and helping patients make healthy lifestyle changes that can improve their energy, sleep, overall health, and sometimes even reduce their need for medication. He strives to ensure every patient feels heard, respected, and comfortable asking questions.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter, staying active, visiting national and state parks, reading, and walking his two goldendoodles. He is also learning Italian and enjoys playing guitar and listening to folk, country, and blues music.

Patients may notice Dr. Smith’s collection of funky bow ties and colorful pants around the clinic. He also prefers espresso over coffee and gelato over ice cream — la dolce vita!
